Saturday, March 8th is International Women’s Day. This show is about issues and events that continue to emphasize the relevance and importance of International Women’s Day. I have interviews with Tracy Glynn, an organizer with the NB Coalition for Pay Equity, and Romana Sehic, worker in a special care home in Fredericton and President of CUPE’s NB Council of Group Home Unions. Also on the show: in honour of Loretta Saunders, an Inuk woman who was found murdered on Wednesday, February 26th in Salisbury, New Brunswick. Finally, this week’s fact: what do bread and rebelling women have to do with the Russian Revolution?
