Red Head March [video]

by Council of Canadians
June 10, 2015
Reading Time: 1min read

TransCanada wants to build the biggest tar sands pipeline yet, Energy East, from Alberta to Red Head near Saint John, New Brunswick. The 1.1 million barrel per day pipe would require massive oil storage tanks in rural Red Head, waiting for export on the Bay of Fundy. On May 30, 2015, hundreds of people marched in Red Head to oppose Energy East.
